Thea Burke

Communications Associate

Thea Burke is a communications associate for the Center for Labor and a Just Economy. She handles the Center’s social media platforms, writes communications and website copy, and assists with the Center’s programs, among other responsibilities. She also helps run the Shared Narratives project, a research initiative between the National Education Association (NEA) and the Center. Prior to her work at Harvard, Thea has experience in science and health communications as well as in content design and user research for Massachusetts state executive offices and Mass.gov.

Thea earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College. Outside of work, Thea likes to volunteer, write articles for organizations she cares about, explore community events, and occasionally submit to The New Yorker cartoon contest.
