Gökhan Aykaç is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics, AHBV University, Ankara. Aykaç received his Ph.D. in Economics from Gazi University. He completed his postdoctoral research on skilled migration and scientific mobility’s effect on scientific productivity at the LWP in 2016-2018. He received a Harvard LWP Wertheim Fellowship in 2017. He is an economist with expertise in labor economics, economics of migration, economics of science, poverty, and financial markets. Dr. Aykaç is a member of the board at Migration Studies Research and Application Center of AHBV University. He is also the co-founder of the Employment Research Association. Dr. Aykaç teaches labor economics, migration economics, mathematical economics, and financial markets at miscellaneous universities’ graduate and undergraduate programs.
