Erin Shackelford

Erin supports all aspects of the Workers’ Capital Project and leads the Trustee Leadership Forum for Retirement Security (TLF) initiative, providing peer learning opportunities for labor affiliated pension trustees. She also conducts research and develops issue-specific resources related to responsible investment. Prior to joining CLJE, she led the TLF at the Initiative for Responsible Investment at the Harvard Kennedy School. Before her work at Harvard, Erin spent fifteen years in the labor movement as an organizer and local organizing director, and has worked for SEIU, AFSCME and AFT locals. She holds a Master’s Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
