Chuanyong Zhang is a research fellow at the Center for Labor and a Just Economy (CLJE) of Harvard Law School and at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). He is currently a professor of economics and public policy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include urban economics, labor economics, and housing economics. His recent research examines the trends in labor force working hours and their implications under China’s economic transformation. Additionally, he explores the impact of land use regulations on the spatial distribution of human capital in China.
