Please join us for a book talk featuring Debbie Goldman, author and former Research Director and Telecommunications Policy Director for Communication Workers of America, and Michelle Miller, CLJE Director of Innovation. In her book Disconnected: Call Center Workers Fight for Good Jobs in the Digital Age, Goldman explores the struggle of call center employees and their union. The book delves into issues such as degraded working conditions, lowered wages, and the fight for humane jobs in the face of abusive surveillance and outsourcing.
Debbie Goldman is the author of Disconnected and the former research director for the Communication Workers of America.
Michelle Miller is CLJE’s Director of Innovation and co-founder of Coworker.org.
