Lizbeth Santana is the Financial Manager at the Center for Labor and a Just Economy. Prior to joining CLJE, she most recently worked at a consulting firm providing financial management services to charter schools and education-based nonprofit organizations in New York and nationally.
Before that, Lizbeth spent over six years at Columbia University in the central budget office, where she advanced from Financial Analyst to Assistant Director of Budget and Financial Planning at the medical center, overseeing complex institutional budgets and long-range financial planning. She also previously served as Fiscal Affairs Manager at New York University, where she managed the student affairs division’s operating budget. Earlier in her career, she worked in finance at a charter school network in New York.
Lizbeth grew up in New York City and received her BA in Economics and her MPA in Management and Finance from Columbia University.
