Yanzhao Liu

Yanzhao Liu is a PhD candidate at Xi’an Jiaotong University. She has directed the China Gazetteer Project since 2018. The project’s goal is to digitalize Chinese county-level gazetteers and establish a socioeconomic database for researchers in Chinese studies. Land-reform data in the gazetteers has been fully digitalized under her management. The Gazetteer team is now working on agriculture policies in China and crop data. Her own research interest focuses on health economics and monetary policy. She is now working on monetary policy in open economies and international monetary policy coordination.
